Six State Rally for 2010 will be in Shreveport, La. at the fairgrounds. There will be a planning rally sometime in April, 2010. As a new chapter, SCLR
will be a host chapter, with approximately 10 coaches participating as volunteer workers. Jobs will be assigned in April at the planning rally. There will be 2 coaches appointed by our President to be Ambassadors. The Ambassadors will be introduced to the Shreveport area and the facilities where Six State will be held. It is the duty of the Ambassadors to report back to our Chapter all the information regarding the upcoming Six State Rally. It was announced there will be an Arts Festival in Shreveport just after Six State if anyone wants to stay in the area for that.
Fred Kennedy, Nat'l. V.P. South Central Area, was a visitor at our rally. He reminded everyone of the importance of recruiting new members for FMCA. Membership is down partly due to the economy. However, each of us as members, should strive to educate our fellow campers about FMCA and encourage them to join us.
Wagon Master and Asst. Wagon Master pins were awarded to Steve and Melody Beall; and Butch and Charlotte Hall.
